Rotarex Firetec
now provides a set of compatible components that, when assembled according to tested limits, UL 2127 standards and specifications outlined in NFPA 2001, form a complete UL listed inert gas fire suppression system
. We have invested in UL listing so our customers no longer have to bear the burden and can remain focused on what they do best – system engineering, design and installation. As well, when new components are developed, we update the UL listing.
Achieving UL listing took 2.5 years of full-time work by 12-15 members of the
Rotarex Firetec
team. The cost was 500,000€. Every component – fire cylinder valves, pressure regulators, actuators, nozzles and more – was tested. Many were tested multiple times.
When you choose

- Offering a UL listed system opens new sales opportunities
- UL listing increases end-user confidence
The components for our 200-300 bar inert gas total flooding system are easy to configure and install. Using a constant flow pressure regulator that modulates discharge pressure to a constant 40-60 bar means that lower pressure manifolds can be used, plus venting and pipework requirements are simpler – enabling easier installation. The systems are easy to maintain and functional tests are possible while the system is armed, and are compatible with all inert gas types.
