Rotarex Korea earns the KFI Approval for the FireDETEC® and RX5112 fire suppression systems to safeguard electrical panels

The FireDETEC electrical cabinets system can operate with both black and orange pneumatic detection tubing for optimal performance and can protect electrical enclosures with a volume of up to 2.88 m³. Reliable fire detection and suppression systems are crucial for electrical panels to prevent fires caused by overheating or electrical faults. This ensures operational safety and minimizes downtime.

The RX5112 system is a complete halocarbon fire suppression solution for single-zone environments such as data centers, server rooms, museums, human-occupied spaces, and other critical applications. It utilizes the FK-5-1-12 agent to extinguish Class A, B, and C fires, and benefits from Rotarex’s renowned valve technology. Its exceptional nozzle coverage ensures fast discharge within seconds, enabling rapid fire suppression.

KFI Certification applies to the products used to protect life and properties from fire and disasters, excluding those specified in the applicable Fire-Fighting Act.

Certification Test : To test compliance to the certification standard of KFI 

Design Review : To examine that the design of the fire-fighting equipment to be installed in the facilities subject to fire-fighting regulation are in compliance with the design manual and design program certified by KFI including their technical aspects.
